Triple Grande Vanilla 1%, no foam latte anyone?

I was awoken out of a dead sleep at 4:30 this morning by my manager asking if I could come in at 6 am instead of 8:30 because the girl who was supposed to be there was not. I could hear the panic emanating and needed the hours, so I agreed. So I went to work with a total of 5 hours of sleep and complete exhaustion in order to work an 8 hour shift that was supposed to be a 5 and a half hour one.
Lets just say that when you are running a tight shift when it comes to people and someone doesn't show up, it makes it even tighter. It was a CRAZY day. I was at the window handing people their drinks for all but about 15 minutes of my time on the floor this morning. All I have to say is that next you go to Starbucks remember that the people serving you are people and could be having a rough day or two, so be nice and we will try and do the same (Can't speak for all Starbucks, but they should be nice no matter what, its part of the standard to work there).
I am very tired and very glad to be home, but not so excited about the mounds of homework that await me. I hope all of you out there are having a good day.
