School as a whirlwind
I cannot believe its been nearly a month since I last blogged. So much has happened in my life. So here is a brief overview.
Sadly, we no longer have Knightley the turtle as part of our household (or dorm) because he got sick. So we returned him with the opportunity to repurchase him. After some deliberation and thoughts over the time we had him, Sarah decided it would be best if we did not repurchase him. It was a sad day, but I think it was the right choice.
Church is going well. As many of you know, when I started at Multnomah, Sarah and I got involved in a church plant. This is going well we now have about 200 every week who attend. This year there are four Multnomah students including my roommate Cassie who drive up their every week. Sarah and I were given more leadership this year with the children classes. It’s been really fun to grow up and through being at a church plant. It gives me a lot of experience and different ideas about how to run a church.
I spent two of the last 4 weekends at Sarah’s house. The first weekend, Sarah, Cassie, Ashley and I went up their to hang out and it was fun and relaxing. This last weekend they kicked me out of the school dormitories, so I spent 4 days with Sarah and her family. I really enjoyed it and they really blessed me yet again. We watched a bunch of really good and fascinating movies, did not do a lot of homework, but did help out at camp because they needed some extra help cleaning.
School is going great, its been a very interesting semester with a lot of changes for the good that are happening. I am learning to embrace those changes and be exited for the next step at Multnomah and in life.
I hope this sums up what has been happening in my life fairly well. I love you all and miss home a lot (which is a little frustrating because when I am home, I miss school). I am enjoying and living in the moment everyday the best I can as God has asked me to.

It's always fun to have you come home with Sarah.
