Random Projects

Today, I am typing this from my kitchen counter because most of the rest of our house is torn up this week. For some reason I'm not working this week. I'm not sure why, so Monday, I was telling my mother that I was restless because I'm not working, so she sent me to wash all the windows inside and out, which turned into also washing all the curtains that were up. Since some of the curtains have to be unnailed and unscrewed from the wall that turned into quite the job, which turned into my mother deciding she wanted to paint the living room, dining room and possibly the kitchen. So instead of painting other peoples houses, I'm painting my parents house. I'm okay with that because it gives me something to do and I get to serve my parents, but I find the whole situation kind of funny. This is generally how projects in our house work. We decide to do random projects at a moments notice like this (this isn't the first time, a simple cleaning and/or small project has turned into a BIG project, I have stories).
Anyway, I hope everyone is having a great week. I know I'm enjoying myself even though my mother is a little crazy. I love her dearly anyway.
