Very Bad Dog, but oh, so Cute!

Just had a couple of funny stories about Mercedes I feel that the world needs to know, because they are funny and oh, so cute! There a couple of things that you need to know before I tell you the stories.

First, there are a couple of rules that the dog knows and you should too. 1. She is not allowed on the bed. 2. She is only allowed to eat dog food, and an occational treat (but Ashley sometimes shares some food with her if she is really good). 3. She is never allowed off a leash (she likes to roam, and come back whevever she feels like it). 4. She is not to be trusted alone at home outside her kennel.

With these rules in mind, here are a couple of funny things she did in the last 24 hours:

Story 1:
Sarah was not feeling too well. But well enough to eat her regular food. So she made 2 hot dogs and wrapped them in tortilla. We were watching something and she ate the first one while she watched. Then she did not feel well enough to eat more than a bite of the second one at that moment. We got distracted a couple of minutes later and went into our bedrooms laughing about something or another with Jordyne. A couple minutes later Sarah came out to the coffee table to eat some more of her hot dog only to find the plate completely and I mean completely clean. The dog had a a very guilty look on her face and we realized she had helped herself to a tasty treat.

Naughty dog. Sarah couldn't even discipline her because she was laughing so hard!

Story 2:
My bed is very low to the floor and Jordynes is very tall. Mercedes sleeps on a blanket at the head of my bed on the floor. I get up at the crack of dawn to go to work and this morning was no exception. I got up and left and later Jordyne tells me the rest of the story. She got up about an hour later and started getting ready. Jordyne could not figure out where the dog was although she said she could hear her breathing. Jordynes bed goes over the top of mine, so if you are lying under there people can't see you unless they look really hard. Anyway, Mercedes had worked herself under there and was curled up in a nice neat ball in the way back corner.

Oh, what a cute dog, but man she is too smart for her own good sometimes.

I hope life finds you all well. I am doing good, just keeping up the best I can with school. Not much else going on.
